Crystal Mountain Ranch Music Festival
Nestled high in Colorado’s West Elk Mountains, in the ghost town of Crystal City, Crystal Mountain Ranch presents one of the most spectacular natural backdrops in all of the western United States. The iconic Crystal Mill, which once provided hydro power for silver miners, still looms proudly over the Crystal River, welcoming visitors from across the world.
Due to the uniqueness of the location, and commitment to preserving the natural beauty that surrounds, we will be limiting participation to 150 invited guests.

GETTING TO CRYSTAL *****PLEASE READ IN FULL*****
- Crystal Mountain Ranch is only accessible by 4WD vehicles with high clearance. Once you arrive in Marble, plan on another 30-40min to navigate the rocky, winding 5mi road up to Crystal.
- CARBONDALE is your last stop for services (gas, groceries & booze), if coming via I-70.
- PAONIA is your last stop for services if coming from the southern route.

LODGING | CAMPING
There are (30) campsites available for booking. Each campsite can hold up to FOUR guests. Campsites must be reserved / purchased prior to arrival.
FOOD & BEV
- With the exception of hosted dinner (Slow Groovin BBQ)on Fri 10/1 and Sat 10/2, guests will be responsible for all other meals. Please plan ahead as there are no stores in the vicinity.
- Aspen Brewing Company will be offering a limited amount of complimentary beer during the concerts (while supplies last). Please BYOB as you see fit and remember, there is no place to purchase alcohol or food on premise.
MUSIC
(Evenings: Fri 10/1 & Sat 10/2)
- We are thrilled to welcome DREW EMMITT as the headliner for BOTH evenings. As a founding member of Leftover Salmon, Drew has been recognized as one of the most prolific multi-instrumentalists and vocalists on the national bluegrass scene, for the last 30 years. Joining Drew’s band will be Tyler Grant, Ross James, Mark Levy, and several very special guests.
- Kicking off each night will be PICKIN’ ON THE DEAD, where Tyler Grant & friends perform bluegrass versions of Grateful Dead Classics. Leftover Salmon banjoist Andy Thorn highlights a band that also includes Adrian Engfer, Andy Manz, & Michael Kirkpatrick.

FINE PRINT | PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
- NO PETS (sorry!)
- Children under 5 are free and do NOT count towards # of people allowed per campsite. Children ages 5 – 12 will require a $30 2-day ticket.
- CHECK IN on Friday 10/1 is anytime after 2pm. Check Out is 12pm on Sunday.
- There is no cell service or WiFi in Crystal. We hope this will be a welcomed reset for your soul, and a chance to reconnect with friends, loved ones, and nature.
- There are no stores in Marble or in Crystal. Again, please plan accordingly for gas, food, beverages, and gear. You’ll want to have EVERYTHING with you upon your arrival on Friday.
